Privacy Policy

Introduction

At YTMP3.pro we respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Our priority is to provide a conversion service with minimal data collection and a strong focus on user privacy.

Data we collect

  • Automatically collected technical data: when you use the service we log minimal server-side metadata such as request timestamps, IP address (for abuse prevention and rate-limiting), the requested video URL (the URL you submit), and basic request headers. We do not store full browsing histories.
  • Form-submitted data: If you contact us via the Contact form you provide name, email, subject and message. These details are used only to respond to inquiries unless you explicitly opt in to other communications.
  • Short-lived conversion artifacts: Files generated during conversion are stored temporarily to enable download and are purged shortly after creation (time-limited URLs).

How we use information

  • Process conversion requests and generate time-limited download links.
  • Monitor service health, detect abuse, and enforce rate limits.
  • Respond to support requests you submit via contact form or email.
  • Comply with legal requirements and respond to copyright takedown requests.

Data retention

Temporary conversion files are purged automatically, typically within hours of generation. Server logs containing request metadata are retained for a short operational period sufficient for debugging and abuse prevention, then deleted or archived in an aggregated form.

Cookies and client-side storage

The web interface may use minimal client-side storage (cookies or localStorage) for UX features like remembering your last selection. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising or profile building.

Third-party services

We may use third-party services for hosting, error reporting, analytics (privacy- respecting), and email delivery. Those providers process data under contract and we choose vendors with strong privacy practices. We do not sell your personal data.

Security

We implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure — if you have confidential concerns, contact us directly for guidance.

Your choices

  • Contact data: ask us to delete your message or contact details by email at support@ytmp3.pro.
  • Cookies & local storage: you can clear or block them via your browser settings; this may affect UX.

Children

Our service is not targeted to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Copyright takedown

If you believe your copyrighted content is being used improperly, contact support@ytmp3.pro with the video URL, proof of ownership, and a description of the issue. We'll investigate and respond promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. When changes are significant we will display a notice on the site and update the "Last updated" date above.
